"Hungry Howies"

semi-overcast 16 °C

Around a week ago I was priveledged to be able to meet "Poncho", who's real name I discovered to be Adam. He got his nickname due to the fact that he wore a waterproof poncho as a prophetic act of faith in believing God for rain (as apparently there isn't much rain in Missouri). As we sat around our campfire we started to chat about everything from: non-alcoholic beer to childhood memories and fantasies. I think this was triggered by Adam mentioning a pizza diner that "has the best pizza" (from what he could remember 14-15 years ago). I think I brought up lucky packets to Sean just after.

We went on to arrange things to do over the weekend - pizza at Hungry Howie's followed by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It turned into a real guy's weekend (especially Sunday night). We were sitting in the carpark of a shopping complex when we saw two girls get into the car next to our trucks. No sooner had they closed the car doors and an alarm set off. After about 5 minutes of attempting to immobilise the car, another random girl ran across the carpark and told them to put in a replacement battery in the remote and retry. That worked in the end. We didn't manage to come up with any alternative solutions until then, in fact, for the mostpart we stood around not knowing what to do ourselves.
